Earlier this month we heard a report from @evleaks that Verizon will eventually carry the rose gold version of the Note 3. Now a listing for the Rose Gold Note 3 has shown up on Samsung’s U.S. website revealing the color will be exclusive to Verizon in the United States.
Originally we learned about the Rose Gold model of the Note 3 back in December, when it was slated to first hit the Chinese market. At the time we were shown two different variants, one with a black back/front and copper-gold accents, and another with the same accents but a white front/back. The actual Samsung listing only shows the white/gold version, though it’s still possible that Verizon could be getting both.
Aside from the hint of gold in its design, the Rose Gold Note 3 has no other changes and includes the same 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU with 3GB RAM. Other specs will include 32GB storage, microSD, a 13MP rear cam, 2MP front cam, a 1080p 5.7-inch display and a 3200 mAh battery.
It’s still unclear exactly when the device will land on Big Red’s network, though we’ve reached out to Verizon for more details. What do you think of the new rose gold color? Do you feel that it’s too similar to the existing white model?
